Why Outlook is the inbox that still lands in 2026
When Microsoft cranked up its deliverability filters this year, most Microsoft-brand mail took a hit — except Outlook. It remained the one inbox that keeps reaching recipient primary tabs at real production rates. Send from aged Outlook stock to other Microsoft addresses (corporate M365 seats, Exchange-hosted mailboxes) and you’re looking at 75–85% placement; try the same thing from aged Hotmail and you drop to 15–25%. If your cold email targets corporate domains, the choice makes itself.
Which tier fits your use case
New (Fresh PVA) — $1.25. Newly created, phone-verified, spread across mixed-country IPs. Reach for these when you need signup verifications, throwaway registrations, or any low-stakes one-off task.
Mix Old (2014–2023) — $2.10. Aged accounts across a spread of regions. The economical route when you’re buying in volume.
UK IP Old — $3. Aged and built on UK residential connections. The pick when your outreach is aimed at the UK and sender geography carries weight.
USA Old (2014–2023) — $3.30. Aged, US-based, and our go-to recommendation for anyone running serious cold-email operations.
Getting the most out of Outlook for outreach
A few habits separate campaigns that land from campaigns that stall:
- Give every account its own residential proxy in the same country it was made. Push traffic through datacenter IPs and Microsoft’s fresh-account suspicion filter flags you within hours.
- Warm each inbox for a week or two before sending at volume. A couple of genuine emails a day, some replies coming back, and the odd inbound message marked “not junk” all build the reputation signal you need.
- Hold day one to around 10 sends. Roughly double it each day through the first week, then move to steady linear increases toward your target volume.
- Sign in through Microsoft 365 flows, not just IMAP/SMTP. Accounts that clear the M365 login earn a higher trust score than ones only ever touched over IMAP.
- Leave payment methods off until week three. Attaching a card early looks like abuse behavior — wait the full 14 days first.
The real reason aged Outlook beats aged Hotmail
Microsoft’s 2026 filter simply values age on an Outlook account more than age on a Hotmail one. Take a two-year-old Outlook inbox and it hits roughly 80% Gmail placement; run an identically-aged, identically-used Hotmail account and you’re closer to 30%. That brand gap is genuine, and our prices mirror it — aged USA Outlook at $3.30 against aged USA Hotmail at $2.75 isn’t padding, it reflects a measurable deliverability difference.

Custom builds and Microsoft 365
These accounts sit inside the free consumer tier of Microsoft 365 out of the box. Business 365 is a different animal — it needs its own organization subscription that we don’t stock, so while the account qualifies for M365, the licensed subscription is a separate buy. Agencies that need M365-licensed Outlook with admin tooling are better off pairing our aged tier with a standalone M365 Business Basic seat (around $6 per user each month from Microsoft) than hunting for combined inventory that doesn’t really exist.
Region-specific Outlook (UK, DE, FR, NL, AU, CA) is available on runs of 50 or more. We’ll also handle recovery pairing, cookies plus tokens, and a preset display name on request. Reach us on Telegram at @oldpvahub to lock in your spec.
